Good afternoon,
Now that the semester is underway, Campus Tutoring Service (CTS) has reopened to help with Math, Business, Economics, Science, and Foreign Language courses. Here are some, but not all, of the options available to you.
For Finite Math-M 118 and Brief Survey of Calculus-M 119: four ways to get help
(1) The “B or Better” program for Math-M118 and Math-M119 is excellent if you are looking to get into competitive programs (like The Kelley School of Business or Nursing). The overwhelming majority of students that complete the “B or Better Program” get A’s or B’s. Standard registration for the program ended on Friday, but late registration is still available. Here are the basics for Late Registrants to the program. If you are interested in enrolling, please email us at iucampusts@gmail.com with “attn: Late BOB registration” in the subject line.
(2) Group Sessions are an inexpensive way to learn new material in a small classroom setting. Students that attend these 75-minute lessons on a regular basis should see a marked improvement on their exams.

(3) Private Sessions are what you might think of when you hear “tutoring”. These are ideal if WebWork is your primary concern, as you get a dedicated tutor in a private room for 50 minutes. You can bring up to 2 friends to a private session (for an additional fee).

(4) Prior to all the tests there will be exam review sessions. These are a terrific way to make certain you have learned all the relevant material prior to the test. Attendees are shown how to solve an entire practice exam, supplied by CTS, start to finish. This includes an explanation of all the relevant concepts and formulas required. Exam Reviews are posted roughly a week before the actual exam date.
For Math M-14, M-25, D-116, D-117, M-211 and many other math classes

For Business-A 100 and Business-K 201
For K201 students, we can help with graded projects and the material for the practical and lecture exams. Private sessions are the only option available for K201. A100 students have the option of attending Private sessions as well as Exam Reviews prior to the Midterm and Final. The Exam reviews become available roughly one week before the exams.

For Economics-E 201
Private sessions are available and are unique dependent on who your instructor is (the material you cover IS dependent on your instructor). Private sessions are available for all instructors. For instructors Self, Snow, and Graf there are also Exam Review Sessions prior to each Exam. These exam reviews become available roughly one week prior to the exam.

For Foreign Language
Private sessions tend to be best for students in these courses, so that is what we offer. You can see the currently availability by clicking here, and keep in mind more flexible scheduling will be possible in the weeks ahead.
Hopefully the semester is starting off smoothly for you. We’ll be here if you need us! If you have additional questions visit www.campusts.com, or you can always call us between 10am – 4pm Monday thru Friday at 812-340-6708 if you can’t find what you need online.
