The “B or Better Program” is an exclusive program designed to help students succeed in MATH-B110. In Fall 2025, over 93% of students who completed the full 16-week program received a B or higher as their final course grade, and over 62% received an A- or higher.
This semester-long program works best when students start from “Day 1.” For students who are nervous about making a long-term commitment, any participant can withdraw at any time, for any reason, and receive a prorated refund for the remainder of the semester. In other words, you don’t need to be concerned that you will be “stuck” in something you don’t like.
Here is a short description of how the program works:
(1) During instructional weeks, students attend two 75-minute in-person lessons. You will choose one option for Lesson 1 (Monday/Tuesday) and one option for Lesson 2 (Wednesday/Thursday) each week.

Wednesday from 4:00pm to 5:15pm
Thursday from 11:10am to 12:25pm
Thursday from 2:20pm to 3:35pm
Thursday from 3:55pm to 5:10pm
(2) During the week leading up to each exam, Group Sessions are replaced by comprehensive Exam Review Sessions. These sessions are extremely important because exams constitute a high percentage of each student’s overall grade. Exam Review Sessions may occur on Fridays or weekends. If you have plans to leave Bloomington during the semester, please contact the Program Director before finalizing plans.
(3) Each week on Wednesday, students complete a grade submission consisting of two screenshots: one showing EdFinity grades and one showing test and quiz grades. This is a critical component of the program because it allows us to monitor progress and step in quickly if the program is not producing the desired results.
There are two payment options:
Way #1: Pay for the entire program up front for a reduced cost of $797. This option saves $99.
Way #2: Pay in four installments. Upon signup, students are charged $29, which covers the registration fee. There are three additional payments of $289 each: the first occurring on the 3rd Monday of the academic term, the second occurring on the 6th Monday of the academic term, and the third occurring on the 9th Monday of the academic term.
Finally, students may become eligible for partial refunds if they register before the start of the semester, comply with the program terms outlined on the linked page, and end with a course grade of “B-” or lower.
