The “B or Better Program” is an exclusive program designed to help students succeed in ECON-B251 (Fundamentals of Econ for Business I) taken in person at Indiana University. This program is tailored to the “conventional” curriculum, which is followed by most (but not all) of the instructors. Notably, students who are enrolled with Professor Glomm should NOT enroll in this program (he’s a great instructor, but he doesn’t follow the conventional curriculum!). We are very confident in this program and offer grade-insurance to students who register before the start of the semester, complete the program, and end with a course grade of “B-” or lower. Visit the grade-insurance page for details by clicking here.
Our program is designed to work “in-tandem” with the class, simplifying and fully explaining the concepts needed to succeed via a series of “in-person” sessions. To be clear, THIS IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR ATTENDING CLASS.
During “instructional weeks”, students attend a single 55 minute lecture on Friday which makes certain the critical concepts from the week are fully understood.
- Students that have Professor Schwendel ideally attend at 10:30am or 1:30pm
- Students that have Professor Lantis ideally attend at 11:35am or 2:35pm
- Students that have Professor Graf ideally attend at 3:40pm
- Students that have a “small” section taught by a graduate student ideally attend at 10:30am, 1:30pm, or 3:40pm. Contact Bill for a personalized recommendation.
- Students that have Professor Glomm should enroll in private tutoring sessions only, not this program.
During the weeks of exams, students will attend Exam Review Sessions in lieu of the Friday lecture. There are two such Review Sessions before Midterm 1, two such review sessions before Midterm 2, and three such Review Sessions before the Final Exam. Attendance to the sessions is strongly recommended. The Exam Review sessions for Midterms 1 and 2 usually occur after 5pm on either Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. *** Please confirm with the program Director prior to making plans to be unavailable on any given Sunday.
Every Wednesday, students will submit any new grades they have received since the previous week. This includes Quiz scores, Exam scores, etc.
Students can pay for the program two ways:
(1) Pay for the entire program up front for a reduced cost of $698 (A $99 savings).
(2) Upon signup, students are charged $29 which covers the registration fee. There are three additional payments of $256 each; the first occurring on the 3rd Monday of the academic term, the second occurring on the 6th Monday of the academic term, and the third occurring on the 9th Monday of the academic term.
If you have any questions about the program, please feel free to contact us by phone at 812-340-6708. We expect very heavy call volume over the next several weeks so you may have to leave a message. Voicemails will be returned in the order they are received. An alternative to calling would be to email our Director (Bill). His email address is bill at campusts.com (please use the @ symbol when emailing Bill – “spelling out” his email address prevents him from getting spammed by bots!).
Students that register for the program can withdraw at any time and receive a pro-rated refund for the remainder of the semester, so if you are not happy with the instruction or decide to use a different mode of tutoring, you are not going to “lose your money” by registering for this!
